Hoopscritic Staff: All NBA Defensive Teams

The NBA season has come to a close but the playoffs are just starting. As you have been seeing the awards come out from the league office every day or so, we have decided to sneak in our All NBA Team selections. You can catch are season awards post here and here.

For the All NBA Defensive teams, we had to develop a point system based on our selections to determine who would make the first annual Hoopscritic All NBA Defensive teams. We gave 3 points for an All NBA First team selection and 2 points for an All NBA Second team selection. We tallied the points and the top five point totals made up of team one.

Without any more blabbering for me, here are the Hoopscritic All NBA Teams:

All NBA Defensive First Team
Tony Allen (G) – Memphis Grizzlies
Kawhi Leonard (G) – San Antonio Spurs
Draymond Green (F) – Golden State Warriors
Tim Duncan (F) – San Antonio Spurs

All NBA Defensive Second Team

Mike Conley(G) – Memphis Grizzlies

  1. Well… I do not have too many problems with your list but Kawhi is a SF, Serge Ibaka does not deserve to be on the team, and Jimmy Butler can replace Kawhi at G to allow all of this to be fixed.
