Bill Walton

The Terrell Davis of the NFL! Yes his career was short, yes his career totals are slim, yes his per game numbers lack some flash. But what more could he have done? In a sadly small span as a non-broken man he won a MVP award, Finals MVP, two Championships, and a Sixth Man of the Year award. He capitalized on his incredibly short prime and he cashed in where he could. As an aside, Walton also owned College basketball, that might even be an understatement.

It’s hard to reward guys who were on the right track before tragedy hit on lists like these. But Walton accomplished enough in his brief tenure as one of the league’s best to earn his spot.
