Kidd Champ
Jason Kidd was a special player, the type of leader that didn’t grace the court often. He hustled, he was vocal, he contributed in all facets of the game. Kidd’s narrative ended with a Championship, unlike Steve Nash, Allen Iverson, Patrick Ewing, and others on this list. Kidd was also fortunate to be a real contributor to his Championship squad unlike Gary Payton.
But, before he won in Dallas Kidd was a perennial MVP candidate who led a non-deserving Nets squad to not one, but two NBA Finals. Kidd had a long and storied career racking up accolades on both sides of the ball, the proof is in the pudding as he finished his career second all time in assists and steals.
